The Sources of Strength Trusted Adult campaign aimed to foster connections by encouraging students to identify trusted adults in their lives. Participants identified a variety of adults including family members, teachers, coaches, community members, custodians, counselors, principals, or other staff—on cards, which they could either present to their chosen adult or contribute to a collective campus display. This visual celebration not only highlights the network of support within our school community but also reinforces the importance of having reliable and caring figures in students’ lives.
As the first of three campaigns planned by the Sources of Strength team this year, it set a powerful precedent for promoting resilience, connection, and mutual support among students and adults alike.
